Winter has officially arrived, and I don't know about you, but for me, that means it's time to start dreaming of a vacation. And while sometimes it's nice to plan a trip with lots of activities and things to do, other times, the call of the very easy all-inclusive resort can't be ignored. To that end, here are five all-inclusive, kid-friendly resorts with a kids club—which, quite frankly, is a win-win for parents and kids alike!

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana/Riviera Maya

Proabably one of the most kid-centric all-inclusive resorts out there, the Nickelodeon hotels are a great choice for families. With five-star restaurants, spas and amenities, there is an Aqua Nick water park, character breakfasts with your favourite Nickelodeon friends, and a Club Nick for kids ages four to 12 that will keep kids busy, unplugged and socializing with other kids!

Seadust Cancun Family Resort

With lots to see and do, including 10 restaurants, luxurious pools, mini golf, zip lines, theatres and shows and more, the highlights for kids include a Treasure Island Water Park, a kids club for kids five to 12 and a baby club for little ones 18 months to five years.

Paradisus Playa del Carmen

With golf, the luxurious YHI Spa and many activities that parents will love (including some adults-only restaurants), the Kidsdom at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen features exciting activities, games, science experiments, crafts and theme days for kids ages 12 months to 12 years.

Finest Punta Cana

Touted as an all-inclusive resort for all ages, there’s a stay & play area for babies and toddlers with a splash pool, a kitchenette and a naproom (parental supervision is required); mini club for kids three to six with treasure hunts, crafts, costume parties, beach games and horseback riding; and the maxi club for kids seven to 11, with a mini water park, team sports, pool games, contests, outdoor pyjama parties and so much more.

Beaches Turks & Caicos

Home of the Pirates Island Waterpark, the biggest waterpark in the Caribbean, as well as a surf simulator and Sesame Street VIP packages available, there is something unique at Beaches Turks & Caicos. Plus, as with any Beaches resort, there are kids club programs available for ages newborns to teens and even kids with autism and special needs that can be booked in advance.
